Dr. Jacqueline Tung O.D.

Meet Dr. Tung

Dr. Tung has been providing exceptional eye care since the early 2000s and has proudly served the community through Eye Health Optometry since 2012. Known for her warm personality and patient-centered approach, she is dedicated to helping every patient achieve their best possible vision and long-term eye health.

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry

  • Doctor of Optometry, Pennsylvania College of Optometry

  • Licensed in California to diagnose and treat glaucoma and other eye diseases since 2004

Advanced Clinical Training

Dr. Tung completed extensive clinical training at:

  • Veterans Hospital, Gainesville, Florida

  • Ophthalmology Eye Group, Maryland

  • The Eye Institute, Pennsylvania

  • LASIK specialty eye centers

  • Vision Therapy programs in Houston, Texas

Areas of Special Interest

  • Preventive eye care and early disease detection

  • Myopia control and CRT/Orthokeratology

  • Specialty contact lens fittings

  • Scleral lenses for keratoconus

  • Post-LASIK contact lens fittings

  • Diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other eye conditions

Dr. Tung is an active member of:

  • San Mateo County Optometric Society

  • California Optometric Association

  • American Optometric Association

She has also volunteered with Give the Gift of Sight, helping expand access to vision care for those in need.

Dr. Wayne Halstrom O.D.

Dr. Halstrom has been in practice in the Bay Area for the past 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley with highest honors as well as a membership in Phi Beta Kappa.

After more than 30 years of practicing optometry, Dr. Halstrom has decided to retire in 2018 to spend more time with his family while enjoying the Florida sun.

He will continue to be our honorary board member for our growing practice.
